PASAR MALAM HELMOND
60 YEAR MOLUCCANS IN HELMOND
CONTEXT
To honor and celebrate 60 years of the Moluccan community in the Helmond district and city center, a special Pasar Malam was organized—bringing people together through culture, music, food, and shared history. The event created a warm, vibrant atmosphere and drew significant attention from both the community and the wider public.
In collaboration with Stichting Ain Ni Ain, we worked collectively to shape the visual identity for this meaningful celebration. I was invited to design the official 60-year commemorative visual and contribute to the promotional materials for the event.

CREATION
Together, we developed beach flags, banners, and flyer/billboard designs that helped bring visibility and coherence to the festival. Also we did some research in finding indigenous symbols from the Moluccan Islands to display in the designs of the merchandise.
Through shared effort and community spirit, we were able to support an event that not only celebrated the past but strengthened the connection within the Moluccan community in Helmond —
a memorable gathering carried by collective pride and togetherness.
